Frames and Canopies FAQ What is the difference between your shelter models? We carry four different ranges depending on your needs: RobustaOur most budget-conscious model, this square-leg steel frame is the best shelter available at the price point. Great for artisans, food vendors, and recreation. Shop Canopro LiteThe best-seller, this model is the confluence of strength and ease. An aluminum structure with hexagonal legs and reinforced crossbars, it can be erected in a few minutes or less. The go-to choice for frequent use. Shop Canopro EliteThe ultimate in strength. With extra-thick aluminum legs and crossbars, alloy joints, neoprene joint protectors, and thicker textiles, this is the favourite of motorsports, powersports, and contractors. Shop Canopro CCThis model gives you all the premium features of the Elite, but changes the aluminum for a rigid, lightweight composite. For those who want something stronger than the Lite but more manageable than the Elite. Shop What are your shelters made of? All our canopies are made of a flame retardant polyester with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) inner layer and polyurethane outer coating for weather proofing. Our Robusta shelters use a powder-coated steel frame with PVC joints, while the Canopro Lite and Elite use high-strength aluminium, with cast alloy joints on the Elite. Are your canopies waterproof? Yes, all of our canopies and sidewalls are completely water-proof.You may see water droplets along the seams if using your canopy in rain for the first time; however, the moisture will activate the seal along the seams, making it completely waterproof for all following uses. How can I clean my canopy? We find for stains, dirt, and mildew, the best solution is a lather of Dawn blue dish soap, Resolve Oxi Action, and water. Apply the lather to your canopy or sidewalls with a sponge, let sit for a few minutes, then rinse with water. How should I repair punctures in my canopy? To seal small rips and tears, make sure the inside of your canopy is clean and apply Gorilla clear tape to the inner layer. For bigger tears, we may be able to seal it with a patch of heat-transfer vinyl. Contact us with photos and we can assess your best option for repair. Contact us
